Drip Content in Online Courses

The drip feature gives you more control over the release of your course content. It allows you to determine when course pages should be unlocked, creating a structured and engaging learning experience.

There are two ways to use the drip feature:

1. Release content after a custom number of days:

  • With this option, you can schedule the release of content based on a specific time period after a participant signs up.
  • For example, you can set a lesson to be unlocked 7 days after sign-up, 14 days after sign-up, etc.
  • This is ideal for streamlining the course and ensuring that participants have enough time to process the material before moving forward.

2. Release content on a specific date:

  • With this option, you can schedule the release of content for a specific date and time, regardless of when a participant signs up.
  • For example, you can set a module to be unlocked on January 1, 2024.
  • This is useful for creating a sense of urgency and anticipation among your participants, or for coordinating the release of content with other events or dates.

Tips for using:

  • Set clear expectations: Inform your participants about the drip schedule so they know when to expect new content.
  • Use the drip schedule strategically: Consider using the drip feature to release important information or tasks at specific points in the course.
  • Get feedback from your participants: Ask your participants how they feel about the drip schedule and make adjustments if needed.

By effectively using the drip feature, you can create a more engaging, effective, and enjoyable course experience for your participants.
