How to configure PayPal as a payment method?

By linking your PayPal account to your Tentary account, your customers have the ability to pay for your products with PayPal. You grant us (Tentary) the right to accept payments on your behalf. At the same time, we are allowed to deduct our transaction fee directly from any payments.

How does the link between Tentary and PayPal work?

To enable PayPal as a payment method for your products, first log in to your Tentary account and then go to settings. Then click on the link "Set up PayPal" to get to the payment configuration.
1. Click on the "Connect" button to start the configuration process.

2. A new PayPal window will open where you can log in to your existing PayPal account or create a new account with your email address.

3. If your PayPal account is not a business account, you can upgrade your account or create a new account in the following window.

4. In the next step, authorize us (Tentary) to receive payments and make refunds (for payments previously made through Tentary) on your behalf.

5. Following your approval, you will see a brief confirmation of your link and a "Back to Tentary" button to close the window. After a short moment, the Tentary page should refresh and show your linked account.

The configuration of PayPal as a payment method is now complete, and your customers can use PayPal as a payment method for your products.
With the button "Unlink", you can remove the authorization/association of your PayPal account with your Tentary account.
