Sell appointment bookings

You can easily sell coaching and consulting sessions with appointment bookings to your customers using Tentary. In the following article, we'll show you how.

Create a new product

To create a new product, start by logging into your Tentary account and navigate to the Products page. Then, click the "+ New Product" button. Select "Appointment booking" in the window that opens.

Configuring Appointment Bookings

All products of this type have additional settings that are only relevant for appointment bookings. Like duration, start time increments:

  • Duration: How long each coaching session lasts.
  • Buffer before/after the meeting: The gap between appointments.
  • How far into the future appointments can be booked.
  • Lead time: How many hours in advance a booking must be made.
  • Incremental start time: The intervals at which start times are offered.

Setting Availability

To ensure that buyers can only book appointments at suitable times, you should specify your general availability. You can manage your availability on the Bookings -> Availabilities page.

You can define specific time slots for each day of the week if you're available for appointments.

Selling Appointment Bookings

After saving your changes and publishing your product, buyers can select and purchase coaching or consulting appointments on their own.

The purchase process can only be completed when an appointment is selected. The purchase confirmation will then include a summary of the appointment booking, along with any files you've uploaded as part of the product on Tentary.

Managing Bookings

To find appointment bookings in your orders, select "Show appointment bookings only" on the Orders page.

Bonus: Automatically Send Zoom Invitations

You can automatically send a Zoom meeting invitation for the booked date. To do this, first link your Zoom account with Tentary (Bookings -> Other). Then, enable the "Zoom" option in the appointment booking settings.

In the purchase confirmation, buyers will now find a Zoom link for the booked meeting, in addition to a summary of the appointment.
